Inspired by Queen’s iconic 1984 anthem “Radio Ga Ga,” this artwork celebrates the unifying power of music and the nostalgia of radio’s golden age. Drawing from the song’s celebrated music video and Metropolis’ futuristic cityscape, the composition blends retro-futurism with pop culture symbolism.

Set against a dramatic art-deco metropolis alive with movement and energy, Freddie Mercury emerges within a glowing turquoise neon halo, reflecting the theatrical presence and electric charisma that defined the band’s visual identity. At the centre of the work stands a towering radio transmission mast, while the vivid orange neon “Gaga” radiates through the composition like a broadcast signal, reinforcing the song’s enduring connection between technology, media, and collective experience.
