The backdrop unfolds as an intricate maze of electronic circuit boards, creating a futuristic landscape layered with hidden references and symbolism. Embedded within the composition is an “electric eye” operating manual - a subtle nod to the surreal and enigmatic lyrics of “Moonage Daydream.” The work’s split-screen narrative structure echoes the fragmented, otherworldly energy of the track itself, one of the defining songs from David Bowie’s landmark 1972 Ziggy Stardust album.
Combined with retro space-invader motifs, vivid graphic elements, and cosmic imagery, the piece captures the bold individuality, theatrical glamour, and mystique that Bowie embodied at the height of his glam rock transformation
