Pablo Picasso
30 x 19.5 cm
Provenance
Colour lithograph, bearing the artist’s printed signature, numbered III, from the Épreuve edition. Presented in a contemporary conservation mount and hand-finished frame.
One of Pablo Picasso’s most enduring muses, Jacqueline Roque became the subject of more than 400 works during the final two decades of the artist’s life. Jacqueline aux Fleurs exemplifies Picasso’s late portraiture, combining bold linear draughtsmanship with flattened planes of vibrant colour to create a composition that is both intimate and unmistakably modern.
This edition was published by Art International, Nice, France, and retains the publisher’s stamp to the reverse. The work is inscribed “Jacqueline aux Fleurs 1954” to the upper margin and marked “Épreuve” (proof) at the lower left. It is professionally mounted and presented in a bespoke contemporary frame that complements the composition while offering excellent presentation for display.
Condition:
The print presents well and is in good overall condition with colours remaining fresh.
