Christina Pierce

Christina Pierce is a renowned cricket artist whose lifelong connection to the sport began in Cornwall, where her father coached cricket. Trained at Plymouth College of Art and London’s Central School of Art, she has exhibited widely in the UK and internationally, including at the Royal Academy, Lord’s Cricket Ground, and The Oval.

After a successful international career in fashion working with brands including Hermès, Kenzo, and Parigi, Pierce returned to fine art, combining her artistic talent with her deep knowledge of cricket. Her work captures the atmosphere, emotion, and spirit of the game, from grassroots cricket to the international stage, portraying legendary players such as Shane Warne, Sachin Tendulkar, Andrew Strauss, Virat Kohli, Brian Lara, and Sir Viv Richards.

Pierce has worked closely with England cricket players on Benefit Years since 2006 and supported charities including Chance to Shine and The Lord’s Taverners. In 2012 she became the Official Artist for the Sri Lanka Premier League, leading to a major solo exhibition in Mumbai in 2014.

Her paintings are held in private and corporate collections around the world, and her self-published Art of Cricketyearbooks and calendars have been widely praised for their evocative portrayal of the game. Inspired by years spent on cricket boundaries, Pierce works across oils, acrylics, creating artworks that celebrate both cricket and human emotion.
