Born in 1980, David is a self-taught artist whose journey began in 2005 after a transformative visit to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Immersed in the French Impressionist collection, he was captivated by the luminous and emotive works of Claude Monet, which ignited his passion for painting.
David’s landscapes reflect this early influence, as he explores light, atmosphere, and mood through loose, expressive brushstrokes that evoke the fleeting beauty of nature. His work has been exhibited and collected both in the UK and internationally, and in 2011 he was honoured with a Jury’s Top 50 award at the esteemed Salon International Show in Texas.
